Hinton Center - Mrs. Alice Stevens, 73, wife of the late D.E. Stevens, and a resident of Hinton township for 40 years, passed away at her home here Tuesday, Jan. 21 after an illness of several week.s Mrs. Stevens was of a cheerful kindly nature with an ever optimistic attitude toward life. She leaves to mourn three daughters, Mrs. Charles Burrison of Long Lake, Mrs. James Allen of Hinton and Mrs. Arthur Allen of Grand Rapids, three grand children and four great grand children. Mr. Stevens passed away one year ago.
