Silent Twenty Club celebrates it's 38th Birthday - Members of the Silent Twenty Club celebrated the 38th anniversary of its organization with a dinner party Thursday evening. The dinner was served at Osburndale at tables centered with bouquets of lovely yellow and white chrysanthemums which had been sent by Mrs. William H. Rowe, a member for many years who was unable to attend, and by Mrs. Gertrude Hangstafer Earle in compliment to her mother, Mrs. Charles Hangstafer, a charter member of the club.

Among the out-of-town guests at the dinner were Mrs. Charles Berger of Lansing, and Mrs. N.J. Smith of Grand Rapids.

Following the dinner the members enjoyed a delightful social evening in the home of Mrs. George West on South Michigan Avenue. The home was decorated with many bouquets of dahlias which had been sent for the occasion by Mrs. Harry Fribley.
